AUGUST

SHUTDOWN

The pool will be closed for routine maintenance August 14th thru Sept. 4th. During this period, all facility members will be able to use the Nassau County Park’s Dept. outdoor pools. Please inquire at the front desk for more information. There will be adjusted hours and/or shutdown dates for the gym.

The facility will return to normal operations on Tuesday, Sept. 5th.

 August 14-17:                  6 am-9 pm

Fri., August 18:                 6 am-7 pm

Sat., August 19:                6 am-5 pm

Sun., August 20:               9 am-5 pm

August 21-24:                   6 am-9 pm

Sun., August 27:               9 am-5 pm

August 28-Sept. 4:            Gym closed

These hours apply to patrons who wish to pay daily admission or "drop-by" to use the pool. A Leisure Pass is required to receive resident rates.

Fees:  $8 Nassau County resident wtih Leisure Pass.  $5 children, seniors, civic volunteers, disabled with Leisure Pass; $22 adults without Leisure Pass, $14 children, seniors, civic volunteers, disabled without Leisure Pass

Member Hours

The Aquatic Center offers special operating hours in the early morning for individuals who take advantage of any Total Access Pass memberships.

Lap Swim Only Sessions

Lap swim only sessions are times when there is no shallow section of the pool available for "free swim." The depth of the pool will be six feet and deeper and "lap swimming" is required. Children are not advised to use the pool during these sessions.

Events & Closings

The Aquatic Center may close or alter the operating schedule from time to time due to special events taking place at the facility. In order to anticipate in advance any such changes, we encourage you to pay close attention to the events page or pick up an "Upcoming Events and Closings" schedule at the front desk.

Parking

The Nassau County Aquatic Center is located within the grounds of Eisenhower Park located in East Meadow, New York. Parking for the Aquatic Center is in lot No. 1A, located off Merrick Avenue (Korean War Veterans Memorial Drive) between Hempstead Turnpike and Charles Lindbergh Boulevard. The circle in the front of the building is for drop-off only. If lot No. 1A is full, overflow parking is located in lot No. 1, also located off Merrick Avenue, or lot No. 6A, located off the main road inside Eisenhower Park. Parking in lot No. 1A is very limited on days in which there is an event taking place.
