Legislator Koslow Honors Bellmore Teacher Who Was Knighted for Commitment to Humanitarian Work

WHAT – Nassau County Legislator Seth I. Koslow (D – Merrick) will honor Calhoun High School social studies teacher David Russell Goldberg for achieving a unique honor through his humanitarian work.

Mr. Goldberg was recently “knighted” by the Parte Guelfa, a Florentine Order dedicated to sustainable development that was established in 1266, in recognition of his commitment to environmentalism, peace, and public education. Having been bestowed the honor of becoming Sir Goldberg, his responsibility as a knight of the Parte Guelfa to further his fidelity to humanitarian service.
