(OCEANSIDE, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Debra Mulé (D – Freeport) visited the Oceanside Public Library on Sunday, Feb. 4 for the community’s annual Volunteer Fair – an event which gives locals the chance to learn about the work of local not-for-profit organizations and explore volunteering opportunities. “Volunteers strengthen the fabric of our community through their generosity of spirit and commitment to selfless service. It is such a great idea to bring these groups together under one roof,” Legislator Mulé said. “Thank you to the Oceanside Library and all of the groups who came together for this impressive event and a special shout-out to the Friends of Oceanside Library for donating the gift cards that were raffled off!”
