Free Spanish-Language Legal Information- LIHBA

As part of its mission to serve the community, Nassau County Office of Hispanic Affairs is notifying the public of the Long Island Hispanic Bar Association (LIHBA) and LIHBA’s willingness to provide legal information to the public on COVID-19-related issues. LIHBA is an independent association and not a County agency. Legal information will be provided solely by LIHBA and its members upon receipt by LIHBA of LIHBA’s intake form. The information provided by the Long Island Hispanic Bar Association, the Nassau County Office of Hispanic Affairs, and any person or individual who responds to an inquiry is solely informational. It does not constitute legal advice and no attorney-client relationship is established. The intake process and the consultation are all strictly confidential. The announcement comes in response to an uptick in requests for assistance received by the Nassau County Office of Hispanic Affairs, ranging in topics from landlord-tenant disputes to immigration. Nassau residents can now call 516-572-0750 or email NCHispanicAffairs@nassaucountyny.gov to request information or resources.
