(PLAINVIEW, N.Y.) - Six months after the barbaric Oct. 7, 2023 assault upon Israel by Hamas terrorists, Nassau County Legislature Deputy Minority Leader Arnold W. Drucker (D – Plainview) and Legislator Seth I. Koslow (D – Merrick) joined more than 1,000 demonstrators at the Mid-Island Y JCC in Plainview on Sunday, April 7 for a march and rally to commemorate the somber anniversary and demand the unconditional release of all hostages from Gaza, including Plainview’s Omer Neutra.

“My heart breaks for all of the families that are still enduring this absolutely unthinkable ordeal, and we continue to pray fervently for the release and safety of every last hostage being held by Hamas terrorists,” Deputy Minority Leader Drucker said. “This powerful demonstration vividly demonstrated our unbreakable unity and our steadfast commitment to ensuring that Hamas can never again inflict this kind of terror and brutality upon the world. Today and always, Nassau County stands with Israel and the Jewish people of the world.”

“As my heart continues to ache for Israel, I draw inspiration from the passion and resilience demonstrated by Long Island’s Jewish community, our allies, and the Israeli people,” Legislator Koslow said. “Six months after the atrocities of October 7, Long Island spoke loudly and clearly to say with one, definitive voice – ‘BRNG THEM HOME NOW’.”
