[ARCHIVED] Three Beaches Closed to Bathing Due to Elevated Bacterial Levels

Nassau County, NY – Nassau County Department of Health has closed Theodore Roosevelt Beach in Oyster Bay, Laurel Hollow Beach in Laurel Hollow and Philip Healey Beach in Massapequa to bathing due to elevated bacterial levels, effective today, June 26, 2021.  These beaches will remain closed until testing indicates that samples are within acceptable limits.
