Nassau County Legislator Denise Ford was on hand at another successful C.U.R.B. Bike Ride! The 14th Annual Bike Ride through Long Beach helped to support C.U.R.B. (Citizens United to Remove Barriers), a non-profit organization which gives the physically challenged a chance to live a life free of barriers. Over 300 citizens participated in this year’s event and took participating riders around the West End, the Canals, Bay Drive along Reynolds Channel, and along the beautiful Long Beach boardwalk.
The 14th Annual C.U.R.B. Bike Ride, sponsored by the S.H.I.F.T. Foundation, is an approximate 11-mile ride, not race, around the City of Long Beach and is geared for adults and children of all ages.
