NCDA Community Partnership & Crime Prevention Fund

About the NCDA Community Partnership & Crime Prevention Fund

The Nassau County District Attorney’s Office (NCDA) welcomes proposals from non-profit organizations and law enforcement agencies that will enhance law
enforcement efforts, reduce crime, and improve quality of life for Nassau County residents. Through the allocation of federal and state asset forfeiture funds, along with associated special revenue funds, the NCDA has established a Community Partnership and Crime Prevention Fund, from which it will, from time to time, award grants for exceptional projects and proposals that will impact upon public safety or the criminal justice system. The overall mission of the initiative is to foster innovative community-based crime prevention or response strategy, cultivate social and organizational partnerships, and improve the overall efficiency of Nassau County’s criminal justice process.

In order for your program or project to be considered for funding, a service proposal form must be completed. This is the first step in a longer process of organizational assessment, screening, and performance evaluation. If you require more space for your responses, please attach additional pages. However, in any attachment, please list clearly the numbered section to which it is responsive. All proposals will be subjected to review by the NCDA Community Partnership and Crime Prevention Fund Advisory Committee. Due to the high volume of submissions, only organizations that are being considered for funding will be contacted. Please contact cpcpf@nassauda.org with any inquiries regarding the application process.
